Serve in a Martini glass

Ingredients:
2 oz Ketel One Oranje Vodka
14 oz Giffard Vanille de Madagascar
1 oz Pink grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed)
14 oz Strucchi Dry Vermouth
14 oz Syrup from Luxardo Maraschino Cherries
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Martini glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of Luxardo Maraschino Cherry.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. Garnish with maraschino cherry.

Used Mandarin Vodka. This was perfect. We were looking for a light, tropical style cocktail to have with fish tacos. This was wonderful. A little on the sweet side, but not overtly. Would do again.

Out of practical reasons ?I made this cocktail with Tanqueray Seville instead of orange flavored vodka. The result is really very good, maybe the addition of gin botanicals gives more depth to this drink. It is not overly sweet, despite the sweet undertone of the Tanqueray. I named it Hemingway Gin Martini ...
