Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
5 fresh Green grapes (seedless)
1 12 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
12 oz Nonino Il Moscato Grappa Monovitigno
12 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
13 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
1 dash Orange Bitters by Angostura
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of skewered green grape.
  3. MUDDLE grapes in base of shaker.
  4. Add other ingredients.
  5. SHAKE with ice.
  6. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  7. Garnish with skewered grape.

Adapted from a recipe created by Ryan Magarian at Oven & Shaker, Portland, Oregon. Apparently, Ryan named this cocktail due to his being inspired by the Sicilian countryside.

This was a bit timid for us. We substituted lime for the lemon juice (or maybe split it 50:50) and two dashes of grapefruit bitters for the one of orange bitters. Better to our taste.
