Ingredients:
2 dried	Clove
1 ¹⁄₂ oz	Hayman's London Dry Gin
³⁄₄ oz	Luxardo Apricot Albicocca Liqueur
³⁄₄ oz	Orange juice (freshly squeezed)
¹⁄₆ oz	St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram liqueur

Prepare:

Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.

How to make:

MUDDLE cloves in base of shaker.
Add other ingredients and SHAKE with ice.
FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish:

EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Too much clove. I would like to try it with whole cloves shaken; or cut down to one clove. They definitely don't need to be crushed of "muddled". I might like to try it without the clove all together. It seems like the pimento dram hasn't got a chance to speak.

It might be that my clove is of exceptional intensity (i doubt it), but if it's likely to be of more or less your intensity, and you happen to actually be as "silly" as me, breaking the cloves with a pestle before mixing the powder in the cocktail, please refrain from using the two cloves suggested because they are really strong, covering up everything; Basically these cloves are much less harmless than they look like in terms of intensity, and if you happen to think that "bruise" somehow entails using the pestle....well go for one clove, do believe me - if you want to taste anything apart from them.
