Serve in a Martini glass

Ingredients:
2 12 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
12 oz Strucchi Dry Vermouth
0.13 oz Pickle juice/brine/vinegar from pickled cucumber/gherkin
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Martini glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of gherkin.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Made this again the next night after our first sampling. This time we added 4 drops of olive bitters. The saltiness and flavours of the bitters helped the herbal of the gin and the pickle juice to go to another level. Still on our favourites.

Really liked this cocktail. The vinegar/brine flavour enhances the gin botanicals. Resulting cocktail is going on my favourites.

Ran out of olives, so I thought I'd see if this is a thing, and it is! Great if you love pickles.
