History

Commonly made in bars, cafés and even roadside stalls of Jalisco, Mexico. Rustic, locally produced and sustainable, Cantaritos clay pots are often used as disposable takeaway drinking vessels.

Review

Juicy (freshly squeezed orange, grapefruit and lime) and refreshing slightly salty tequila, invigorated with grapefruit soda.

If serving in a traditional Cantaritos pot, wetting the porous clay exterior improves its appearance, and as the water evaporates from the outside, it helps keep the contents cold.

This has basically become my go to. And to think I used to say I disliked tequila smh (it does help that I got better quality tequila tho lol)

I agree with Brett that the salt overpowers a bit. Personally that's kind of a good thing, but that's cuz I like salty cocktails anyway

Refreshing!
I found myself wanting just a little something extra, so I added 5 ml ginger juice (maybe more next time?), and a pinch of black salt. Nice!

The salt overpowers it for me (not even a salted rim guy if that says anything). Delicious without it.
