History:

Created in August 2015 by yours truly at the Cabinet Room, London, England.

Reggatta de Blanc (White Reggae) was the second, and seminal, album by the English rock band The Police. The album's French name reflects the heavy influence of the country's products in this cocktail and happily, for approval by our naming committee (my missus), most of the ingredients are also decidedly "blanc".

Nutrition:

One serving of Reggatta de Blanc contains 187 calories

Alcohol content:

  • 1.8 standard drinks
  • 22.29% alc./vol. (22.29° proof)
  • 24.5 grams of pure alcohol

Difford’s Guide remains free-to-use thanks to the support of the brands in green above. Values stated for alcohol and calorie content, and number of drinks an ingredient makes should be considered approximate.

Life was a bit too dull so on the 7th day, after a short nap, God sent us Simon Difford! What a lovely drink again. Each ingredient falls into place rather nicely, lovely balance.

Interesting cocktail. The wine was actually palate forward, with the Gentian following close and the Calvados closing the deal. Pisco just provided the alcohol punch and not much of the flavor. Nice work Mr Difford.
