3rd time making this and I'm warming up to it more and more. Specific ingredients used will matter - I'm using amaro Montenegro and Los Siete Misterios Doba Yej.

The smoke might be stronger than other flavours to me. I thought perhaps too smoky - but I'm beginning to warm up to the recipe as is.

Definitely worth trying and experimenting.

Well that disappeared quickly! A well-balanced mingling of citrus, bitter, smoke and sweet.

Quite tangy to begin with but softens with each sip. A very good sour and one I’ll make again for sure.

This is very drinkable - just the right level of sour and remarkably sweetness.
I use Averna and think actually a dash of tonic wouldn't go amiss just to stretch it out and turn it into a long drink.
This is really rather good and is disappearing fast.
