History:

Indian Bacardí Legacy 2015 winning cocktail by Navneet Kumar, ITC Grand Bharat, Manesar.

'Espiritu de Santiago' is inspired by the untameable passion of the Bacardí Family.

"The family prevailed over countless adversities; and this passion is part of my personal story as well. I come from a small town in India, and have struggled, worked very hard and with passion, in spite of many odds. Today, as a head bartender in one of India's largest hospitality groups – I am very proud of my journey and the tenacious character it has instilled in me!

"I feel I have the 'spirit of Santiago' and I want to keep this spirit alive, and pass it on to every bartender around the world who makes this drink, and to every consumer who sips it. A salute to this spirit: 'Espiritu De Santiago'.

Delicious! Had to try with standard simple syrup rather than coconut. A nice, more savoury take on the daiquiri. Sounds like this will be quite sweet with the yellow chartreuse & syrup but sage comes through and balances really well. A new favourite.
