Detroit Martini No. 2

Ingredients:
7 fresh Mint leaves
2 12 fl oz Ketel One Vodka from freezer
14 fl oz Strucchi Bianco Vermouth chilled
14 fl oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water, 65.0°Brix)
16 fl oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a MARTINI GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of mint leaf.

How to make:

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish:

  1. Garnish with mint leaf floated on the cocktail or pegged/stuck with spot of honey to the rim.
  2. Garnish with mint leaf.

Review:

A minty fresh Vodkatini, although some will question the use of "Martini" in the name. However, I've added a splash of bianco vermouth to bring Dick Bradsell's original Detroit Martini closer to true Martini territory.
