Ingredients:
2 oz Caribbean blended rum aged 6-10 years
12 oz Kummel liqueur
14 oz St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram liqueur
1 oz Orange juice (freshly squeezed)
12 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of Luxardo Maraschino Cherry.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. Garnish with maraschino cherry.

History:

The Kingston is a classic cocktail from the 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book but this recipe is by Frank Caiafa, author of the 2016 The Waldorf Astoria Bar Book, who says, "I've added the touch of lemon juice for a bit of zip, but you could use a couple of dashes of Acid Phosphate or try it without, as they did at The Old Bar [at The Waldorf Astoria]." Frank prefers to use Appleton Reserve for his rum and Combier Kummel.

According to your ingredients it needs a bit trying, but then a delicious and very interesting cocktail.
