A bittersweet Italian aperitivo riff on the classic Sidecar. Tasty it is too.

The sidecar was one of the first cocktails that MrH and I enjoyed together....after all this time, this version was a fitting twist to enjoy together on 💘 valentine's day.

Using 10ml creme de cassis instead of sugar syrup is also delicious.

Perfect. Had this to celebrate D-Day and my father's birthday (June 6). My father was stationed in East Anglia for the D-Day invasion. This was a great aperitif and a wonderful rift on the sidecar.
