Glass:

Ingredients:
34 fl oz Bourbon whiskey
34 fl oz Galliano L'Autentico liqueur
1 pinch Cinnamon powder (ground)
1 fl oz Galliano Espresso Coffee liqueur
1 fl oz Orange juice (freshly squeezed)
1 fl oz Whipping cream chilled
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. No garnish to prepare.

How to make:

  1. POUR bourbon and Galliano L'Authentico (not Galliano Vanilla) into a room-temperature glass.
  2. Exercising extreme caution, IGNITE the contents of the glass and sprinkle cinnamon powder over flame. (Beware almost invisible blue flame!)
  3. As soon as the theatrics are over, cover the glass to EXTINGUISH the flame and prevent the glass from becoming hot.
  4. SHAKE last 3 ingredients with ice.
  5. STRAIN over bourbon and Galliano base.

Garnish:

  1. Serve naked, without garnish.

I didn't record the origins of this cocktail, but it was in our original database and appeared in our first 2001 Difford' Guide to Cocktails book.
