Glass:

Serve in a Collins glass

Ingredients:
12 fl oz Ketel One Vodka
12 fl oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
12 fl oz Light white rum (charcoal-filtered 1-4 years old)
12 fl oz PatrĂ³n Reposado tequila
34 fl oz Green melon liqueur
14 fl oz Green Chartreuse (or alternative herbal liqueur)
14 fl oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
14 fl oz Lime cordial (sweetened lime juice)
Top up with Lemon-lime soda (Sprite/7-Up)
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a COLLINS GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of lime wedge and Luxardo Maraschino Cherry.

How to make:

  1. SHAKE first 8 ingredients with ice.
  2. STRAIN into ice-filled glass whilst also pouring lemonade.

Garnish:

  1. Garnish with lime wedge skewered with maraschino cherry.

You may recall Hong Kong Phooey, the 1970s Hanna-Barbera animated children's TV series featuring the mild-mannered janitor Penry and his superhero alter ego. This party cocktail is a little better than Penry's kung fu but deadly all the same.

Really nice even without soda, or unsweetened soda instead.

It's one of the older cocktails on my database and sadly I didn't record where I came across it (in the early to mid-1990s).
