Serve in a Toddy glass

Ingredients:
1 barspoon Honey
2 oz Blended Scotch whisky
3 dried Clove
14 barspoon Freshly grated nutmeg
Top up with Breakfast tea (hot)
× 1 1 serving
Read about cocktail measures and measuring

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-heat a Toddy glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
  3. Place bar spoon loaded with honey in warmed glass.
  4. Add other ingredients and STIR until honey dissolves.
  5. EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

How much tea?

Definitely flatter than the Scotch and lemon, but slightly more easy drinking. Having had this twice, I did use black tea on the second attempt which we had on hand rather than English Breakfast, because we ran out. Not invigorating, unfortunately. Maybe one needs to splurge?

Lacks something in comparison to the Scotch and lemon. Adding some smokier Scotch (Ardbeg 10) improved it, but not enough that I would drink this over the lemon version.
