Serve in an Old-fashioned glass

Ingredients:
56 oz Patrón Reposado tequila
56 oz Grand Marnier or other cognac orange liqueur
56 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
4 drop Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water)
2 barspoon Strawberry jam/preserve/conserve
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill an Old-fashioned glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of dehydrated strawberry slices and Tajin seasoning.
  3. POUR first 4 ingredients into shaker.
  4. Add strawberry jam and use a barspoon to combine with the other ingredients.
  5. SHAKE with ice.
  6. FINE STRAIN into glass filled with crushed ice.
  7. Garnish with dehydrated strawberry slices dusted with Tajin seasoning.

We had only apricot jam home-made and so made an apricot version of this delightful sour. We upped the first three ingredients to 30ml each and, thinking that the drink lacked a bit of depth, added 5ml Mezcal...did the trick for us.
