Grapefruit zest twist
How to make:
SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.
|1 2/3 fl oz||Hayman's London Dry Gin|
|1/2 fl oz||Yellow Chartreuse liqueur|
|1/2 fl oz||Pink grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed)|
|1/4 fl oz||Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)|
|1/6 fl oz||Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water, 65.0°Brix)|
A Chartreuse and gin-laced Daisy with grapefruit and lemon juice, that (as it says in the 1971 Playbox Bar Guide, is "perfect for an autumn sundown."

1½ ozs. gin
½ oz. grapefruit juice
¼ oz. lemon juice
¼ oz. yellow Chartreuse
Shake well with ice. Strain into prechilled cocktail glass. A competitive kind of drink, perfect for an autumn sundown.
