Serve in a Martini glass

Ingredients:
3 oz Strucchi Dry Vermouth
14 oz Cointreau triple sec liqueur
1 dash Peychaud's or other Creole-style bitters
12 oz Blended Scotch whisky
× 1 1 serving
Read about cocktail measures and measuring

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Martini glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Not bold but has understated flavours. I added an extra dash of Peychaud’s and used a whisky with honey notes (M&S 8 year blended!). Nice.

Not remotely pink (it's pale yellow) but it worked well with the disappointing J WalkerDouble Black - a hint of peat on the nose.
Low sugar, tasty, not too strong. A good summer drink in a whisky glass with ice.

Clean and crisp. Very dependent on your selection of vermouth.

Not surprising given the 3oz, but this mostly just tastes like vermouth. Hard to taste the scotch. Not a fan.
