How to make:
SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.
|1 1/2 fl oz||Applejack brandy bottled-in-bond (50% alc./vol)|
|1/2 fl oz||Apple juice (apple cider) unsweetened & cloudy|
|1/2 fl oz||Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)|
|1/4 fl oz||Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water, 65.0°brix)|
Sweet and sour with rich apple flavours and a brandy backbone.
Adapted from a recipe created by the late Sasha Petraske at his famous Milk & Honey bar, New York City, USA. Sasha was inspired by the Apple Jack Rabbit in The Savoy Cocktail Book.
