Serve in a Martini glass

Ingredients:
1 23 oz Light gold rum (1-3 year old molasses column)
12 oz Joseph Cartron Double Crème de Cassis de Bourgogne
12 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
13 oz Chilled water omit if using wet ice
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Martini glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lime wedge.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. Garnish with lime wedge.

Very flavourful daiquiri. Really like the recipe as written, but then added 4 drops of Difford's Daiquiri bitters and it made the citrus flavour pop a bit more.

Very refreshing and light, but it seems to be missing something as configured above. A couple of dashes of lime bitters helped to add a much needed zip to it. ;-)
