This reminds me a bit of the famous Golden Cadillac which is another creamy cocktail featuring white chocolate liqueur. Both drinks are a decadent adult treat but this one is quite interesting with the tequila dancing with the crème de cacao really well.

Just a heads up - if you use commercial grenadine, this is going to look like pepto bismol! Not the best use of any of these ingredients IMO. (Silk Stocking)

Remade it with Cascahuin Blanco Tequila (wonderful additive free Tequila). Sadly, not as much of an upgrade as I hoped. I still stand with my previous comment that even a Mixto will work, as long as all the other ingredients are of reasonable quality.

This was outstanding. Strong blanco tequila flavour and great for an after dinner drink. Perfect for ending the celebration of Mexico's Independence. In Mexico, tequila cocktails must have a strong flavour of tequila. Perfecto.

The only difference I might make is to dust the cocktail with freshly grated nutmeg rather than the cinnamon.

Agree, made with 1.5oz tequila it has just the right touch!
