Really enjoyed this sweet cocktail. It might be making it more sweet, but I added a charred piece of pineapple as a garnish. That hit a special note for us. I made this with a homemade falernum that really found brought a wonderful taste. When making this, I leaned in with a hint more ginger and it was fantastic.
Truly delightful. I love the combination of orange and spices, plus the rich rum as the foundation. Bitters do add a touch of balance to the sweetness. A new favourite.
Also found it a bit sweet, also added 4 drops of orange bitters. I did like the blend of flavours in the original recipe, but found the one with the orange bitters also very flavourful.
