Absolutely terrific cocktail, made it with grapefruit superjuice for the bite and thus felt no need for the lemon and sugar syrup. New brunch favourite (or favourite period).

Looks nice, goes directly on my must try list, but the description is not so clear: should it be two dashes of absinthe, one for the shaker, one for the float (would make a nice mnemonic)?
Surprisingly fruity and versatile. The given recipe is quite sweet with my sloe gin, but can easily be adjusted to suit the occasion. Goes straight into my standards repertoire!
As the name kind of implies, this would make a great brunch cocktail.
Surprisingly this did not sit that well with me. While it's not at all bad, the association of brandy and coffee is classic after all, I prefer the clean flavours of the original finally.
Surprisingly effective combination
Being a big fan of Bloody Mary and gin I expected to love this, but strangely found the gin botanicals more intrusive than supportive.
Fantastic with acid adjusted juice (and a view on the Chartreuse)
Surprisingly nice combination of flavours! Used acid adjusted orange juice and upped the cherry somewhat
Made a riff on this with gin, acid adjusted grapefruit juice and a splash of soda over ice. Not too bad!

Made this with home-made fairly runny orange marmalade. Transformative, updating to Outstanding. The choice of marmalade is, fairly unsurprisingly, the key to this cocktail.
Acid adjusted orange juice really breathless new life into all the classic orange based cocktails. Very convincing!
Made this with acid adjusted orange pseudo-juice instead of a mix of orange and lemon. Absolutely divine.
Are the proportions enough to merit a separate recipe, or is this a double of Fernet con Coca? Surprisingly delicious by the way.
