This one's really unbelievable. With the combo I used (Real Mccoy 3 year rum, Rittenhouse Rye, and Baie Des Trésors - Fruits of the Rain), this drink comes out tasting primarily of that french-oak cask note from my aged rhum. It's almost like a french-oak cask soda, if such a thing were to exist. If you're as much of a fiend for that flavor as I am, this is an amazing easy sipper for it.

Delicious, love it as a nightcap. Used Mr. Black and cinnamon syrup, the almost smoky mix of coffee and the flamed orange with the bourbon makes it feel like the wild west distilled into a drink. Absolute delight if you're in that sort of mood.

Delicious. Feels almost like a Mai Tai built to drink in the wintertime, around a roaring fireplace. The nutmeg (or whatever else you have on-hand for a similar effect, a cinnamon blend worked well for me at one point) is a must.

Unbelievable, honestly. You'd be amazed at how simple a combination as this can end up so good. Brandy and port does something magical together, perfect nightcap when you want something substantial but don't feel like putting in the effort to make something more complex. If you're a fan of port and other fortified wine like I am, this is a must.

Probably my favourity booze-forward drink. Although, just now i wanted to make it but didn't have any good cognac on hand, but i did have some aged dark jamaican rhum, so i substituted the cognac with the rhum, and i dare say it rivals the original , with all due respect ofc

Definitely agree, love with cognac normally but the rum substitution does something fun. Been making it with a friend of mine from Quebec and lovingly referring to them as a 'Près du Quai', since we moved away from the Vieux Carré 'old square' to a more nautical 'by the docks' or 'near the wharf'. Turns out really good
