Tried with 1oz Bacardi 8 and 2/3 oz Hamilton 151, which balanced the honey sweetness even better and gave the kick we wanted.
This is such an interesting cocktail! Depending on where it falls on the tongue, a different taste prevails. No sip is the same... thank you for forging this one.
The delicate balance really depends on the dilution, and the mint (floated a leaf on top) also added a really nice, subtle note.
The suggestion to use Abbott's bitters is excellent and the lemon twist is essential.
