Pink grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed)

1/3 fl oz

Chilled water/mineral water (omit if using wet ice)

How to make

Glass

Prepare

Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.

Prepare garnish of mint sprigs.

Method

SHAKE all ingredients with ice.

FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

Garnish with mint sprigs bouquet.

SEVENTH HEAVEN COCKTAIL. (No.2)
1 Tablespoonful Grapefruit Juice.
¼ Maraschino
¾ Dry Gin.
Stir well and place a sprig of green Mint on top.

The delicate balance really depends on the dilution, and the mint (floated a leaf on top) also added a really nice, subtle note.

I made it 2x as originally specified, 45 gin, 15 maraschino, 30 pink grapefruit, and it was just fine. Maybe a tad bitter, but I like it like that.

This one surprised me. Very well balance cocktail. With the mixture of ingredients, there is a slight sweetness to the cocktail, but in a very good way. All the flavours blend excellently together.

This drink is easily lengthened with Fever Tree sparkling pink grapefruit soda. Fills a saucer perfectly. Recipe does not mention the beautiful pink hue of the drink!
