Searching for warm cocktails for cold nights - this is a great way to enjoy your brandy/cognac! The nose is off from a normal pour of neat cognac, but the flavor notes come through very well. I note that you won't see the flame unless you have very dim lighting - and in that case it is very alluring.

That reminds me the way we drink sambuca in Moscow. No water and sugar; just flame the sambuca, let it burn a little (you need to twist cognac glass). Then pour burning sambuca in an old-fashioned glass and drink immediately! In addition you can inhale sambuca vapor from the cognac glass.
