Serve in a Goblet glass

Ingredients:
1 12 oz Blended Scotch whisky
1 oz Claret wine (Bordeaux red)
14 oz Joseph Cartron Double Crème de Cassis de Bourgogne
13 oz Honey syrup (3 parts honey to 1 water by weight)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Goblet glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of mint sprig and berries.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into glass filled with crushed ice.
  5. Serve with a straw.

Not sure at all how this is a “cobbler,” but I found it looking for a lighter cocktail containing red wine. I used Chianti, and do like it.

Agreed David! Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Image of the cocktail in a coupe glass is the wrong image. I'll re-shoot and revisit the recipe ASAP. I'd prefer to make using honey syrup rather than stirring honey with whisky to dissolve.
