Prepare

Select and pre-chill a COLLINS GLASS.

Prepare watermelon wedge for garnish.

Method

SHAKE all ingredients with ice.

STRAIN into ice-filled glass.

Garnish

Garnish with watermelon wedge.

I also found this overly sweet. I will try adding lemon juice, but I don’t want to reduce anything else in the drink. Really needs a bitter for balance.

I found this drink to be too sweet, so I decreased the Triple Sec and the Green Melon Liqueur by 7.5ml or 1/4 fl oz and added 15ml or 1/2 fl oz of lemon juice, which did improve this drink a little bit by adding a slight sour note, however I probably wouldn’t make this drink again if I’m being honest

I first encountered this over 20 years ago, in Australia. They used a dash of Blue Curacao to deepen the green, and it rounded off the flavour quite pleasantly. I always add the blue curacao at the end and stir in.
