Serve in a Martini glass

Ingredients:
1 12 oz Irish whiskey
2 oz Espresso coffee (freshly brewed & hot)
12 oz Demerara/Muscovado/brown sugar syrup (2 sugar to 1 water)
1 oz Single cream/half-and-half
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Martini glass.
  2. Prepare coffee beans for garnish.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. Garnish with 3 coffee beans floated in a petal formation in the centre of the cocktail's foamy head.

Review:

Forget sipping warm java through a cold head of cream. This 'Martini' version of the classic Irish Coffee offers all the flavour without the moustache.
