Serve in

a Martini glass...
3 fl oz Bacardi Carta Blanca light rum
½ fl oz Luxardo Maraschino liqueur
¾ fl oz Freshly squeezed lime juice
¼ fl oz Maraschino syrup (from cherry jar)
¼ fl oz Sugar syrup (2 sugar to 1 water)

How to make:

BLEND all ingredients with one 12oz scoop of crushed ice and serve in chilled glass.

Garnish:

Luxardo Maraschino cherry

Comment:

A classic frozen Daiquiri heavily laced with maraschino cherry.

About:

Created by yours truly (Simon Difford). This was one of the two cocktails with which I won a Havana Club Daiquiri competition in 2002. It is named after Girolamo Luxardo, creator of the now famous liqueur, 'Luxardo Maraschino'. Lux is also Latin for light.
