Serve in a Martini glass

Ingredients:
1 12 oz Ketel One Vodka
12 oz Elderflower liqueur
1 12 oz Pear juice (freshly pressed)
× 1 1 serving
Read about cocktail measures and measuring

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Martini glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of pear slice on rim.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Increased proportions from 45 to 60 ml, and 15 to 20 ml. Quite agreeable, but 3 drops Chocolate Bitters knitted the flavours together and added a touch of complexity, without making the mix actually chocolate-y.

Found the vodka version to be a little one-dimensional. However, substitute vodka for bourbon and this drink starts to play with all the different flavors.

Not too sweet summery cocktail. 1 pear is about enough juice for 2 cocktails (because what else would you use a juicer for?)
