1/4 fl oz	La Fée Parisienne absinthe
1/4 fl oz	Dubonnet, Byrrh etc. rouge light quinquina
1/2 fl oz	Chilled water/mineral water

How to make

Glassware

Serve in a Martini glass

Prepare

Select and pre-chill a MARTINI GLASS.
Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.

Method

SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

absinth heavy as expected, but not without its charms... do not skip the garnish!

The balance with the absinthe is crucial. My first attempt was a touch too heavy. Second go, very nice.
