Review:

Spirituous enough for a pirate. Why the name? Well, one of the rums has some 'funk', both rums have nautical connections, the lime protects against scurvy, the cinnamon schnapps liqueur has pieces of gold and grenadine is blood red. Well, seemed appropriate to me!

Had again, but using over proof Navy Rum. Wow. Outstanding. Strong, but outstanding.

Being a big lover of rum and Jamaican rum, this was outstanding. This must be made with strong rums and a good Jamaican Navy rum with plenty of funk. The rum is the strongest flavour with the other ingredients adding enhancement. Slight taste of cinnamon from the Goldstager but only as an aftertaste. Thank you for another great cocktail to use with my collection of Jamaican rums.

PS. If you do not like funky rum, this is not the drink for you. Will taste completely different if not made with strong rums.
