Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
2 oz Light white rum (charcoal-filtered 1-4 years old)
12 oz Apple Schnapps liqueur
14 oz Goldwasser cinnamon schnapps liqueur
12 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
34 oz Apple juice/apple cider (cloudy & unsweetened)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of apple wedge.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

I didn't have cinnamon Schnapps so I substituted for the same amount of cinnamon simple syrup (which I had). Wow, what a nicely balanced cocktail. Great apple flavor at the start with a citrus sourness mid palate and finished with a subtle cinnamon flavor. Outstanding job Mr Difford.

A bit too sour. I will make another one with a splash of sugar syrup. Maybe it was just my limes.
