Ingredients:
1 12 oz Blended Scotch whisky
12 oz Honey herbal liqueur (e.g. Drambuie)
1 12 oz Orange juice (freshly squeezed)
1 dash Orange Bitters by Angostura
2 drop Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

SWEET SCIENCE (1981)
1½ oz orange juice
¼–¾ oz Drambuie
1½ oz Scotch
Shake well over ice cubes in a shaker, strain into a cocktail glass.

Oh I like it. It’s citrus season in California and Mexico, and experimenting with different oranges, tangerines, Buddha’s hands, — it all tastes GREAT. The fresh juice is everything

I think I like it with less drambuie.
Too sweet otherwise.
