1/2 fl oz	Giffard Sour Apple Liqueur
1/2 fl oz	Strucchi Dry Vermouth
1/4 fl oz	Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water) 65.0°Brix

How to make

Glassware

Serve in a Martini glass

Prepare

Select and pre-chill a MARTINI GLASS.
Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.

Method

STIR all ingredients with ice.
FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Pleasant enough. I had a sour apple liqueur a friend picked up on holiday - prob should tell you everything you need to know. Added a generous splash sour rowanberry vodka (EXTREMELY sour) from the excellent Moe distillery in Estonia it was vastly improved.

A great drink to introduce cognac forward drinks to people. Use a good cognac and it's boozy but balanced and smooth. Very tasty.
