Review:
The recipe may look sweet, but this fruity cocktail is dried by a splash of lemon and brut sparkling wine.
History:
Adapted from a recipe created in 2023 by Cam Dawson, the longstanding UK Jack Daniel's brand ambassador and originally based on Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey.
"Created for the McLaren Formula One team x Jack Daniel's partnership which kicked off in 2023. McLaren's team colour is Papaya which is of course why I had to use it in the cocktail. The first version of this drink was Bellini-style but the use of the juice instead of purée creates a much cleaner, fruity yet earthy mix that works wonders with Jack Daniel's! Why the champagne?, Cos it's Formula One, baby!!! The name?!?! That was Zak Brown's (CEO of McLaren racing) fault, when he called it this in a video message. I wanted to called it 'The McLaren Fizz'."
