Serve in an Old-fashioned glass
1⁄2 fresh | Lime (fresh) chopped wedges |
1⁄4 fresh | Ruby red grapefruit chopped wedges |
2 oz | Strucchi Red Bitter (Campari-style liqueur) |
1⁄2 oz | Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup) |
MUDDLE lime and grapefruit in base of shaker to release juices. Add other ingredients, SHAKE with 6oz scoop crushed ice and pour all without straining into glass.
This bright red fruit-laden cocktail has the looks to appeal to all, but its bittersweet flavour is more polarising.

I served this in a bar glass instead of an old fashioned glass thanks to the comment about the volume of the finished product. I was happy with the look of the drink though. (Campirinha)
