Ingredients:
1 12 oz Bourbon whiskey
13 oz Bénédictine D.O.M. liqueur
1 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
13 oz Chilled water
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Nick & Nora glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

It's really good, but you have to like bourbon to appreciate this cocktail.

Excellent. I loved these old 1930s cocktails. Straight to the point and direct. Whiskey forward. Perfect with a spicy New Orleans themed dinner. Would definitely to again. Not for the faint of heart. An old standard hearty cocktail.
