Serve in a Toddy glass

Ingredients:
2 oz Bourbon whiskey
3 oz Boiling water
14 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-heat a Toddy glass.
  2. Prepare thick long orange zest twist for the garnish.
  3. Place barspoon in pre-warmed glass.
  4. POUR all ingredients into warmed glass and stir.
  5. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Review:

Hot, watered-down bourbon stirred with orange oils. Simple but very tasty.

The only difference between a 'skin' and a 'toddy' is the addition of citrus peel to skin cocktails.

Use a bourbon that you really like, and you are certain to enjoy this simple and delicious way to warm up a cold night! I wonder what a dash of bitters would do - maybe next time.
