Ingredients:
2 14 oz Lustau Jarana Fino Sherry
12 oz Cynar or other carciofo amaro
14 oz Luxardo Maraschino liqueur
2 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. Express lemon zest twist over the cocktail and discard.

Made this with an amontillado rather than a fino and found it to be excellent - a well-balanced salty-sweet aperitivo. This strikes me as one ripe for bitters substitutions
