Serve in an Old-fashioned glass

Ingredients:
1 12 oz Fernet Branca liqueur
34 oz Giffard Peppermint Pastille crème de menthe
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill an Old-fashioned glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of mint sprigs.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into glass filled with crushed ice.
  5. Garnish with mint sprigs bouquet.

Review:

Minty amaro thinned and cooled by ice. Looks medicinal, smells medicinal, and tastes a little medicinal. Best prescribed as a digestivo.

History:

Named after chef Fergus Henderson, who describes it as "a cure for any overindulgence" and says the recipe was one of his father's. The Dr. Henderson is served at all his St. John's Restaurants across London.
