Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
1 23 oz Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. cognac
34 oz Dubonnet/French rouge aromatised wine
14 oz Honey herbal liqueur (e.g. Drambuie)
2 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
2 dash Peychaud's or other Creole-style bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

It's like an all cognac Vieux-Carré with some maltiness from the Drambuie. Really nice honestly, just make sure you use a good cognac.

Warm and rich. Great blend of liquors, with the bitters playing a nice role in balancing the sweetness of the Dubonnet and the Drambuie. A perfect cocktail for a cool Autumn afternoon.

Sipping this right now. This was on my Wishlist to try more cocktails with Dubonnet. This is fantastic and definitely a 5*
