12 oz Galliano Espresso Coffee liqueur
12 oz Grand Marnier or other cognac orange liqueur
12 oz Patrón Reposado tequila
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select a Shot glass.
  2. Refrigerate ingredients.
  3. LAYER in chilled glass by carefully pouring ingredients in the order listed.

Review:

Coffee and orange spiked with tequila. The trio layer well and combine to make a tasty shot (perhaps stir together and sip to savour the experience rather than downing in one).

On the verge of a second lock down and not one's for shots, we amped up and topped up with 5ml of mezcal for the actual smokiness. Thanks to the prior post.

This cocktail layers beautifully, better than in the photo shown. It was a bit too sweet for me, although the smokiness of the reposado tequila tempers that a little. I would suggest it is better after dinner rather than before.
