Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
1 oz Straight rye whiskey (100 proof /50% alc./vol.)
34 oz Giffard Banane du Brésil liqueur
1 12 oz Orange juice (freshly squeezed)
34 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
12 oz Egg white (pasteurised) or Aquafaba (chickpea water) or 3 dashes Fee Brothers Fee Foam cocktail foamer
2 dash Peychaud's or other Creole-style bitters optional
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of banana chunk.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice and strain back into shaker.
  4. DRY SHAKE (without ice).
  5. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

This Flamingo's not pink but it is suited to a couple of dashes Creole-style bitters that impart a slight red tinge.

Whilst the review does mention the Peychaud's bitters (as another comment of yours promises!), I think you forgot to update the recipe too. Going to go and make one of these now...

On the edge of great/good-ness?... Used 99 Bananas again... Begged for sweetness; added 1/4 oz 1:1 turbinado syrup. Got it closer... Wild Turkey was nice in this, but does the overall expression need an overproof whiskey to make it excel?

Agreed, better with bottled-in-bond rye. I found dashes of Peychaud's also beneficial so have updated the recipe and review accordingly.
