Ingredients:
1 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
1 oz Luxardo Apricot Albicocca Liqueur
1 oz Strucchi Dry Vermouth
16 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Review:

Far from being my favourite but this apricot liqueur-laced gin martini with a splash of balancing lemon sourness is not bad.

Adapted from a recipe in Harry Craddock's 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book:
"Favourite Cocktail
1 Dash Lemon Juice.
1/3 Apricot Brandy.
1/3 French Vermouth.
1/3 Dry Gin.
Shake well and strain into cocktail glass.
"
