Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
3 dried Green cardamom pods
1 23 oz Light white rum (charcoal-filtered 1-4 years old)
12 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
13 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
4 drop Bob's Cardamom bitters
13 oz Chilled water
× 1 1 serving

Garnish: Lime zest twist (discarded) & lime wedge on rim

How to make:

Cut zest from your lime for garnish prior to squeezing for juice. MUDDLE cardamom in base of shaker. Add other ingredients, SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.

Review:

A charcoal-filtered light rum works best as more full-bodied rums simply don't sit well with the cardamon. Hit the right balance with the right rum and this delicately cardamon-influenced daiquiri is delicious.

Adapted from a recipe created in January 2021 by Richard Godwin in Bristol, England this recipe is based on yours truly's 10:3:2 Daiquiri formula.

Delicious indeed! I tried this with 10ml of velvet Falernum and a squeeze of agave syrup instead of the simple syrup. Nice evolution of the daiquiri with a slight medicinal note from combination the spices.
