1/2 fl oz | Galliano Espresso Coffee liqueur |
1/2 fl oz | Dark crème de cacao liqueur |
1 fl oz | Espresso coffee (freshly brewed & hot) |
1 scoop | Vanilla ice cream |
How to make:
- Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
- Prepare garnish of 3 coffee beans.
- BLEND all ingredients with three cubes of ice.
- POUR into chilled glass.
- Garnish with 3 coffee beans floated in a petal formation in the centre of the cocktail's foamy head.

Based on the eponymous classic Italian dessert, this after-dinner cocktail blends coffee and chocolate with ice-cream, appropriately fortified with a splash of grappa.
History:
Created in 2013 by yours truly for Jamie Oliver's Jamie's Italian bars.
