Adapted from a recipe created in 2019 by drinks writer and raconteur Robert Simonson in Brooklyn, New York City. Named for the 1863 battle between the Mexican army and the French Foreign Legion. Robert's original recipe: 30ml (1oz) tequila, 30ml (1oz) mezcal, 22.5ml (¾oz) lemon juice, 15ml (½oz) orgeat syrup.
