Serve in an Old-fashioned glass

Prepare

  1. Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
  2. Prepare mint sprigs for garnish.

Method

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. STRAIN into ice-filled glass.

Garnish

  1. Garnish with mint sprigs bouquet.

Tried this twice. Didn't have wine... Used Cocchi Americano the first time. Pretty good... Used 50:50 Cocchi and prosecco. Almost as good... Definitely want to try this again but, alas, the bottle of SoCo I had for the last 3 years is finally gone and, oh well, might not get one any time soon... What a way for that bottle to go off into the sunset... Do try this! (21 May 2023, 2:28p)

Made this in an attempt to use up the unloved Southern Comfort we have and it was delicious!

I also have a long lasting bottle of Southern Comfort; so tried it. I found its combination with Cointreau to be a touch too sweet… and added a couple of dashes of lemon juice. Happy with the outcome👍
